There are some modules that I taught which I find related to Taking IT Global's vision of empowering the youth to understand and act on our world's greatest challenge. Apart from my profession, I'm also involved in a international youth organization called World Youth Alliance (WYA). I participate in activities and volunteer my time to WYA at their Asia-Pacific office here in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. During my undergraduate year, I'm also involved as a student-volunteer for the social arm of our university, the Center for Social Concern and Action (COSCA). Our volunteer program under COSCA is called Lasallian Outreach Volunteer Effort(LOVE). That time, I very involved in community development work through exposure and assistance in the implementation of our projects or programs for marginalized/ developing sectors of my country. We also conduct tree planting activities through planting native trees. In addition, we educate the local communities about climate change and sustainable development. Furthermore, I worked towards our advocacy campaigns and activities relating to human rights with our fellow Filipinos experiencing marginalization and abuse like Peasants, Farmers, Fisher-folks, and etc. Our volunteer formation program spearhead yearly activities such as blood donation drives, relief goods donation and a special olympics for more than 650 children with exceptionality i.e children with Down Syndrome, with ADHD/ADD, with autism and etc. We encourage our whole community in our university to be a part of this one day activity
