working at VIKSAT, Nehru Foundation for Development, an NGO (Non Government Organisation) since 1999 as a Programme Associate, GIS. I design various maps, graphs, exhibition panels, Brochures, books, annual reports for our institutions and also design and maintain institutions’ websites i.e. (1) www.viksat.org ( VIKSAT) (2) www.nfdindia.org ( Nehru Foundation for Development) (3) www.vascsc.org (Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre) etc. My tasks at VIKSAT comprises of digitizing of various village maps using GIS (Geographical Information System) Software’s and preparing layers according to database available for the villages and also preparation and maintenance of our field database on a routine basis.
