Adesida Ireti Emmanuel – Short Profile
Project Director, Youth Hotline Network, he is a Youth Development Knowledge facilitator, he has been taking his passionate youth project, a Youth discovery, empowerment and developmental non-governmental, non-profit making and inter-ethnic Youth project that is made up of well-groomed and resourceful individuals. He has been working passionately in the area of Youth media network, reaching out mainly to Youth and also to the larger society, via forums, electronic and print media, creating an avenue for information and knowledge sharing with entertainment to spice it up. He has promoted the nurturing of native talents and abilities to build a sustainable level self-worth among today’s morally bankrupt society.
He produces a regular Youth development radio package, which addresses issues that affect young ones, like informing and educating young ones practically and how they can be involved directly in eradicating HIV/AIDS and other vices in any community they find themselves, this programme has also transformed to a periodic interactive youth seminars/forums addressing this issues. He has organized great youth development summits/seminars, an example is the mind blowing and life-changing “Face-lift for 2006” held in Akure, Ondo State, it was an epic event. He has worked in various youth communities like Ondo, Ekiti, Lagos, Osun and Oyo States and also effectively through various online communities. He has participated in and coordinated effectively various life-changing conferences and seminar.
In recognition of his effort, he has been mentoring and training various upcoming Youth Projects like “U and I Creative teens”. He is presently a Debate To Action in my Community, Development Knowledge Facilitator, he is presently working on the Millennium Development Goals {MDGs} facilitation, a World Bank Institute, British Council and the National Youth Service Corp joint collaboration as a development Knowledge facilitator, working in various communities, by creating an environment through facilitation to educate and charge people to be involved directly in various change processes in their community. He has been an efficient Team Leader/representative in various Youth Projects. He is a passionate public speaker, motivator and self development counselor.
