- Attended the first Kaleidoscope in Australia, October 2007 where we had a series of workshops on different topics including; Gender Equality, LGBT Rights, Using creative art and photography in development, Advocacy and Youth empowerment.
- Met with other Action Partners from the region and those Action partners from 2004 – 2007 and worked collectively on a regional response for Middle East and North Africa.

Regional Focal Point for Middle East and North Africa region of the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS

- Worked on the OIYP-GYCA case study survey on successful HIV/AIDS interventions.
- Shared in online discussions moderated by the population council about the current situation of women in Egypt.

Attended the XVI International AIDS Conference 2006 where I:

- Was speaker in a session named "Learning from the Leadership of Young People and Positive Youth in the Global Response to HIV/AIDS" where he spoke about connecting youth globally and his recommendations to youth, civil society and the government
- Was also a facilitator in one of the pre-conference sessions named "Intricacies of the Virus"
- Attended a 3-days pre-conference workshop
- Participated in the MTV 48fest and was part of the team that produced a three minutes movie named "The Last Time" about women in developing countries and how poverty render them vulnerable

Participated in UNGASS +5 Review meetings and Youth Summit 2006 where I:

- Had "Media and Marketing" and "Lobbying UN missions" trainings
- Was a speaker in a church event at the UN Church center
- Represented the civil society at UNGASS meetings and meetings with Egyptian Delegations
- Shared in Developing an Advocacy message as a Youth Declaration about their needs
- Had an interview broadcasted online on the UN Radio website.

- Peer education sessions about reproductive health and HIV related issues at secondary schools where we have established the Anti AIDS Clubs.
- I was part of the team and shared in advocating for establishment of Anti AIDS Clubs in the schools.
- I am one of the supervisors and facilitators of the Anti AIDS Clubs in the schools.
- Member of technical support and web design team in Global Youth Partners (GYP).

- Attended the International Federation for Medical Students’ Association PreGA workshops in August 2007
