 About Me |
in 2002, I run an organization called youth against aids in my country but now, I have set up the youth network for MDG (millenium development goals)The Youth Network set a mission which is to contribute actively in the Millennium Development Goals achievement and in the implementation of the UNDAF by promoting Malagasy Youth in respect with the gender equity.
Therefore in order to reach our goals, we have established a close collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture and with the United Nations System in Madagascar ; in particular with the UNDP, the UNICEF, the UNAIDS, the UNFPA and the UNIC as well as with other potential partners such as the (communauté de base), local authorities, etc…
We are aiming at:
- availing information for youth, especially the vulnerable ones and getting them to benefit from their rights
- reinforcing and building youth capacity on partnership development and mobilization of resources
- improving youth access to (AGR) opportunities and sustainable employment
- preserving and protecting the environment from human wastage
- raising youth awareness on their taking responsibilities face to HIV/AIDS and STIs spreading
