Hi friends!

I'm really excited to be a part of the TakingITGlobal team! I am the new TIGed Professional Development Program Assistant. I am also in my final year of an Honours BA at York, specializing in Criminology. After participating in a six-month, Canada-wide youth volunteer program (Katimavik), I understand the true importance of youth and community engagement. I plan to continue being involved throughout my life and career.

Je parle francais et anglais. My interests range from prison reform, to First Nations traditions and cultures, to underground house music, to the love of my life – my guinea pig, Molly.

I also love to travel! Next stop (Summer 2013): Touring throughout Italy, China and India. I love learning about new cultures and living as the locals do when I travel. I still have much of the world to see. I'm always looking for adventurous travel buddies :)
