About Me |
When a person loses the ability to communicate vocally, their world becomes very small and isolated. Refusing to give in to this scenario, Cheryl Cornelius became an artist, making her way in the world expressing herself with paint instead of words. Her primary goal is to say on canvas, what a beautiful world this is and a great time to be alive.
Cheryl has a rare disorder called Adductor Spasmodic Dysphonia, an affliction that attacks the vocal chords making speech a strangulated and difficult effort. It affects more than 50,000 people in the United States including such people as NPR Radio
