I believe that effective communication across disciplines, borders, boundaries and frontiers, and a new paradigm in economic, social, and political organization are the keystones to human development in the 21st century.
I am a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia, with a BA in History. I believe that the lessons of the past are being lost and forgotten by the people of the present, and I feel that the preservation and communication of our collective history is fundamental to maintaining and developing a prosperous global community—that an understanding of where we come from is essential to understanding where we are going.
As a founding member of Bethesolution and a Web-Conference facilitator for Heart in Action, organizations that focus on addressing how young people can bring about change, I have been involved in the design and delivery of Web-Events that bring young voices to the debate on Global issues.
