 About Me |
Uniting the rainbow of cultural diversity, my Christian leadership has spanned several entities of international reach. Firstly, my Presidency of the QC Bible Club has actively enacted the ideals of the Inter School/ Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship through the creative and performing arts. This ambit extends to International Wesleyan Board of Christian Education whose local chapter engages rehabilitation centres and underprivileged youth preparing for major exams. As Secretary of the Board in Guyana, I coordinate the “Hope in Jesus” literacy and Bible outreach to depressed communities.
GuyberNet (A Global Sustainable Development Information and Training Centre) has offered to me a multiplicity of engagements, including work with street children, the construction of houses with Habitat for Humanity, and editorial contributions to a UNICEF-funded HIV/AIDS Newsletter. Affiliated to the Environmental Protection Agency, the QC Students for Environmental Protection has participated in the launch of the UNEP “Plant for the Planet” Campaign in Guyana through my membership on the National Coordinating Committee for Global Youth Service Day.
about my family..............
i belong to a family of 8 persons and am the eldest. i'm doing my A-levels in chem, bio, math and phys. i love volunteer work and interacting with youths.my hobbies r singing, writing plays & s'times poems,reading and being involved in volunteer work. its challenging at times but its worth it. i'm still learning to balance my school and volunteer work.
