About Me |
I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil but grew up in Houston, Texas. I earned my Bachelors of Science from BYU in Management Information Systems and attended Executive Education on Marketing at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. I then earned my full-time Duke MBA at the Fuqua School of Business with a concentration in Marketing Strategy and Product Management. During my undergrad days, I served as a missionary in Johannesburg, South Africa and Mozambique. I also worked for several high tech companies during and post undergrad, including Novell Inc. as a Beta Manager and Marketing Specialist; and Altiris Inc. as the Dell Alliance Marketing Manager. I then interned as an Associate Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble's Mr. Clean Brand and worked two years thereafter at General Mills as an Associate Marketing Manager in the Big G Cereal Division. Currently, I work for Google in their CPG Sales team in Chicago. Outside of work, my friends (Chris Deaver and Jetmir Hysi) and I started The International Mentoring Network Organization (www.imno.org), a non-profit organization focused on providing professional mentoring to the world. We founded and lead the open source mentoring movement. On my spare time, I enjoy writing scripts, making movies, and playing soccer.
