Ever since l discovered that life is principle-based,and governed by such principles that cannot be avoided, which requires our understanding and consciously applying ourselves to them can we truely make impacts with our personal lives,profession and even as nations,my life has changed. I have discovered that every result we get and experience in life is a product of an applied principle or a consequence of a broken one. We succeed and fail, develop and under develop according to the principles we consistently apply or fail to apply. l am very passionate about personal-leadership and development. International relations,diplomacy and development. It is very impossible to truly lead others when we cannot lead and produce with/in our individual lives. The same principles that applies in developing ourselves,leading it and building good and productive relationship with ourselves and others applies to nation and the international community. l am a Christian,and l strongly believe that God skillfully designed,equipped and created us to fulfill a purpose.we should take pride in who we are and be able to identify our growth opportunities for full maximization. We are the masterpiece of the entire creation. Every human on the face of the earth is as important as the other,equipped and endowed with great skills,gifts and talents. All the nation of the earth too...blessed with great natural and human resources that are capable of generating the kind of development we desire. It is about time we start looking in-wards. Like l said, I am very passionate about development and relationship--between and among nations and individuals, that can help us become productive as nations and individuals. Equipping Leaders and youth with the wisdom for policy making...both local and foreign. I desire to work with an international NGO and inter-governmental organizations and agencies where l can really unleash my potentials and impact humanity.
I am particularly concerned about the pace and level of development in Africa. Realizing that the only group that can expedite actions on this issue is the YOUTHS, our future leaders. This is why l believe that only when they are truly trained,equipped and prepared can they demonstrate and produce results capable quickening the much desired development in the continent. The major problem among this future leaders is that, the desire for results has been placed before the willingness to develope themselves in areas of competencies and character. Desire for success outweighing the readiness to apply the principles...a big problem This was my major motivation when l wrote the handbook "THE IDEAL NIGERIAN YOUTH" submitted to National Youth Service Corps Headquarters Abuja, Nigeria(NYSC) for publication and distribution among the Nigerian youths. Also submitted and uploaded in this site for publication and as a toolkit for the Masterpiece group,which l coordinate.The level of mental development among the youths in Africa is basically one of big concern. Being the future leader that will surely wield the leadership mantle of nations in this continent bothers me alot. This is partly responsible for the backwardness in the continent at large. Because it keeps down-spreading . Keeping them away from the understanding of the basic principles that is mearnt to prepare them for productivity is very worrisome. I have a message for theeveryone that desires results and positions of influence and leadership. The masterpiece principles are packaged to help us release our UNIQUENESSES. This is our true comparative advantage that we alone carry for our world. We advocate for a principle of COMPLETION as against the popular COMPETITION,VISION AGAINST AMBITION. Vision is when we see a problem situation in our society that we can do something about,while ambition is a selfish desire that is motivated by personal gains. Vision postions us to COMPLETE the circle,by releasing our unique gifts and potentials to the development of our world,while ambition encourages intense COMPETITION that promotes personal gains at the expense of others.
