I am a Visual Artist, Journalist and the Director of the Musa Heritage Gallery in Cameroon. My hobbies include the arts and crafts, computers and new information & communication technologies (ICTS), music, plants, the environment and nature. I also enjoy sightseeing and travelling. My career in the Visual Arts started when I was still a very small boy. I was inspired by my dad who took up wood carving as a hobby when I was only six years old. At the age of eleven, I successfully realised my first woood sculpture. Further information on the is found on its homepage at http://www.btinternet.com/~mulamba/ In short, my lifetime has been centered around the building up of the Musa Heritage Gallery as as an Arts and Crafts Museum has a focus on the arts and crafts of Cameroon 's Western Grassfields. Active in the area of collecting Arts, Culture and Development information for its resource centre, it is also involved in setting up a Music Information Centre for Cameroon 's folk and contemporary music as well as music from other neighbouring countries. It aims are to preserve contemporary Cameroonian arts & crafts for future generations, develop a liking for arts, crafts and music in Cameroonians, to expose Cameroon's rich folk music to a wider public at home and abroad and to create a resource facility on arts, crafts, culture and music as well as general developmental issues. Personally my intention is to show my community and country as a whole that the arts and crafts, culture and music all contribute to the success of the nation and must have a place and recognition in society. Apart from being in the Musa Heritage Gallery collection my works are also with individuals in Cameroon, Europe and USA. In the company of my brother John Musa (late) we exhibited at the Kumbo Town Green on the occasion of National Day celebrations on the 20th May, 1983.
