About Me

My name is Patsy Oparaku, a Nigerian citizen, (Project Director) Didi Oparaku Health Foundation(Do Health) Lagos, an non - governmental organisation(NGO)with focus on information dissemination on health issues as it affects women and children, (youth inclusive) and empowerment through skills acquisition initiatives.

Do Health foundation started in 2005 and is duly registered with CAC. It is community based and are already into colloboration with Civil society organisations such as Civil society network on HIV & AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN),Nigeria Network of NGOs working on population and reproductive health(NiNPREH), Lagos State AIDS control Agency (LSACA), Ikeja SACA,Human rights Information Network (HURINET) etc. I have demonstrated capacity in people’s /Public Management, Filing, documentation and records keeping / maintenance.

An MBA holder in Advertising &Public Relations / Health Care management, Bsc. Hons in Business Administration as well as an N.C.E holder.

I am also a member of the Nigerian Institute of public Relations (NIPR) and an Associate Registered Practitioner in Advertising (arpa).

The above academic attainment and wealth of career pursuit, have equipped me with the needed interpersonal, innovation, conception, communication, computer and analytic skills needed to carry on with the development work.

I have clear understanding of capacity building and development issues, ranging from Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS, Child Survival, Democracy and Governance, Communities Communication needs assessment, Gender and Women’s issues. Computer literate, with skills in MS Office 2000-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), Outlook, Internet and e-mail, etc.
