ok.. a few things...

I ADORE John Howard (Best australian PM ever; One of the best world leaders ever).
-- Although not as much as Malcolm Turnbull, who if we elect in 2010 (and we'd be deadset MENTAL not to), I suspect will do an even better job.

I DESPISE Kevin Rudd (One of the biggest Slimeballs to ever w.hore his way onto the political stage).

I Fell in love with Barack Obama the minute I heard him speak back in 04 or something.

I hate extreme socialism. I hate extreme capitalism. I consider somewhere between swedish and australian politics to be the ideal.

I hate complacency. I hate race, age, sex, and orientational prejudice.

I hate Censorship. I literally do not support it in any way, shape or form. Having said that, porn should be legal for everyone.

I Love China (if you can overlook the whole censorship, human rights violations etc.)

I do not support gay marriage. I dont really support marriage at all except as a "nice" tradition and convenient financial structure. I support complete CIVIL UNION EQUALITY (which FTR is what Barack Obama supports - This is now one of only a handful of things that the american government has over us australians).

I support responsible, selective drug use (such as pot, ice, 2CD, fantasy, and cocaine). I think drugs never should have been prohibited, but considering what's done is done, I believe it would be more damaging to abruptly legalise drugs than to leave things as they are. However I think they should all be decriminalised. (maybe some of them could be legalised decades down the track but.. its just not necesary. Not to mention all the good the illicit drug market does for economies and unemployment).

I do not support freeing tibet.

I do not support the south ossetian "government".

I do not usually agree with third world democracy, yet I consider it essential to the 1st world.

I hate enivironmental fanatics - but I also hate fossil fuel supporters. I support Nuclear FUSION. I support geothermal energy. I support desalination and recycled water plants (a la Queensland).

I ABSOLUTELY LOATHE the organisation known as PETA. It is without a doubt, the biggest and most succesful scam ever undertaken.

I hate "animal-lovers" because theyre a bunch of whiny, uneducated, inconsistent, pussies. The day they care about bacteria and cockroaches as much as they "care" about bunnies, sheep and foxes, is the day I will take one word from them seriously.

I believe EDUCATION is the holy grail of successful nations - in all aspects. There is NOTHING more important than having a well educated society.

Having said that, I think one of the most pressing issues in the world is the underpaying of teachers. In most cases they deserve at least 2 or 3 times more than what they are currently receiving. the USA is the most disgraceful example of this matter. Teachers are the ones who shape our citizens' lives. It is a position that demands respect. Not only for reasons of principle, but pragmatically - High pay will attract high quality. High Quality is not merely a want - IT IS A NEED. There are a few countries in northern europe who are already attune to this fact; Now the rest of us must aspire to what they have. For the record, some of you may be aware of Kevin Rudd's latest idea of introducing hierarchical wages. You know the drill: the "better" the teacher, the better their pay? This is a practice thats been going on in the USA for decades and one of many things ive always been proud NEVER took place here.

So much for that.

There are a myriad of reasons why the concept always has been and always will be a big fat failure, but the most prominent of them is the issue it introduces of TEACHER CHEATING. Now I wont go into details, but basically its been proven again and again that hierarchical wages hardly improve teaching standards, if at all. What they do do is increase rates of teachers using a variety of methods to "look" good, rather than BE good. And in the process they aquire a mindset that scrambles their ethical priorities, and diffuses their apititude.

...............

Ok... That was longer than I anticipated. I never usually write anything in these "about yourself" spaces. I guess if i'm gonna say something, I might as well say something.

For the Record, I found this website via the "Stop Australian Internet Censorship" Petition: http://petitions.takingitglobal.org/oznetcensorship?unsignedpetition=972177335
- which I found via the signature of a poster in the vogue australia forums (which is pretty much my primary internet fixation). Lucky.

Anyway, this "child protection" bulls.hit is just one of endless ALP issues that drives me insane; And truly makes me wonder about the australian IQ - That this dog who looks like a fcuking P-file ever got elected (as he's been toting this policy since 2006; Strangely it seems to be the only one of his election promises he's keeping his word on, as no doubt the inconsequential & symbolic gestures of "sorry day" and ratyifying kyoto DO NOT MEAN ISH), let alone is enjoying the highest approval for a first term PM in polling history. Ugh. Puh-leeze. Gag me with a spoon.

So sign it fcukers. its a good cause. Maybe even write a letter. I'm thinking of it, And i've never written a complaint letter in my life.

PS. For anyone thinking WOW look at all those languages - I only speak broken to semi fluent in all but english. I've learnt through verbal osmosis so I'm also fairly illiterate.
