PCWA was started in 2004 as a community based watershed advocacy group. In the past years we have done a number of projects that have been beneficial to Piney Creek but also the New River, Piney Creek is the most urbanized watershed along the lower New River. It takes up almost 2/3 of Raleigh County, WV and it and its tributaries run right through town.
