About Me

Me. Hmmm ... straight-shooting animal, inquisitor, techy geek, hugger, world traveller, helper, adventurer, lover.

I don't say "I wish ..." rather I say "I will..."

Over my short span I have been able to experience so much of the world and its beauty. I've been on the go pretty hard core for the past ten years; have travelled North America, Central America, South America, Europe and Asia all extensively, and some of Africa and the Middle East; now I'm living in Saudi Arabia until June 2011. Somehow during my adventures, I have been able to complete an undergrad degree in business and, as of July 2010, a masters in management and international development.

With the shock death of my father (who was my very best friend) in January 2006 (of a heart attack) and the death of one of my best friends, Adam, in 2007 from cancer, I've grown more and more appreciative of time, and the concept of time as defined by a society I don't fit so well in. I couldn't care less about money and have no problem dropping cash on doing things even if I don't have it (i.e. using my credit cards!). Not buying things, but doing things. I hate "stuff" ... but I love LIVING. I'm a big fan of anything that gets my blood really pumping, be that serious hiking, sky diving, bungee jumping, zip lining, rafting, canyonning, or, hopefully, you. I love hitchhiking and feeling the rush of cars and trucks speeding by inches from me with just a thin white line to keep me safe. And I love the randomness in not knowing when someone will stop or who it will be and what stories they will have to share. I'm a big fan of scuba diving and just love the feeling of being under water and the power one has over gravity while being there.

Of course, I love people and doing things with great people. And I have been so lucky in that regard. I have met some of the best people this rock planet has to offer, no question. So great to share great times with great people.

So in summary, I'm me. A product of many, many things. I love life. I love living. I love having a good time. I can be serious when I have to be, but prefer being loose all the time, doing things that don't mesh so well with social norms. I'm dedicated. Passionate. Meticulous. Detailed.
