Over Mij

Living in a remote village in Western Hiss District of Nepal (far from some 200 kilometers, Kathmandu). Located at 1600 meter AMSL. Geographically, the place has mild climate. Pleasant climate.

Personally, I dont claim myself as an educated, but I am satisfied with my profession, teaching in school as a great oppertunity and challenge, and enjoying. Last 12 years I spent in this profession, within the framework of the traditional society - it was really memorable in my life and will be in future too.

The school, where I am teaching is established in 2016 Bikrami Sambat (1959 AD). Till 1995 , the school was lower secondary school and now the school is Secondary School. And about 10 colleagues and about 500 students. This is my beloved family. I always enjoy with them.

Originally, I was from outside the disrict. I joined this scholl when I reached there after my marriage in 1995, I am teaching there for secondary level students since then. And now I became an integral part of the village life. Spending some 13 years in that village, I got oppertunity to work with the villagers and share and help them in different aspect of life.

Omkala is always worriying about the low level of school attandance of girl childs in school. However the ratio of the girls child enrolling in the school is increasing these days. I am pleased in this improvement, in which my contribution also shares a some part.

The mission is started informally realising the need that every child should go to school, the special attention shoul be given to girl child, because many girls are in situation of underpreviledged.
