Tina dynamic interest in volunteerism has sharpened her employment options and created limitless opportunities for her. Starting at the young age of 10 as Girl Guide, a national movement that aimed to empower young girl and young women. In 2003, with a group of Girl Guides from France she volunteered in the implementation of a project that focused on AIDS awareness, it was her first project as a manager. She was in charge of the fundraising. The project lasted three months and after it she decided to continue working on AIDS issues. At 18, Tinah got a Consultancy offer(s) one with the National Broadcast Station where she worked as compeer in an educational Tv program (dealing with road safety procedures and citizenship education on how to take care of public infrastructure) then in the same year with an international NGO (Population Services International), in which she worked to promote youth sexual and reproductive health. The project was about implementing a network of special clinics for youth, which provide STD treatments, family planning, HIV testing and counselling. After working with PSI for two years she left and got another Volunteer assignment with the UNDP Madagascar country office and the United Nations Information Center to be the female official delegate of Madagascar at the second Pan African youth leader summit held in Morocco. After the summit she returned to Madagascar and participated in youth awareness on the achievement of the Millenium Development Goals in 5 regions of Madagascar. Her role at the Morocco conference facilitated funding opportunities for the National Girl Guide Movement from UNDP for a project on young girl empowerment focused on training and capacity building. Today, Tina is a Program Office with the International HIV AIDS Alliance. She brings to the workshop a lot of experience in many years of volunteerism with a gender lens. Her experience in working with organisations based on the program that all the organisation, which work in her portfolio as volunteers. It is note worthy to mention that today, through her active work as a volunteer she was the Youth Female Malagasy Official Delegate at the first youth leader global summit held in New York and was appointed as youth spokes person for MDG by the UNDP and in 2007 was selected to be an Oxfam action partner till 2010..
