About me
Omar Mansoor Ansari was born and bred in Jalalabad, Afghanistan. He was in 5th when his family moved to the neighboring Pakistan in the mid of the Russian invasion. He continued studying in a school there and latter when the communist regime was defeated his family moved back to his hometown Jalalabad. He completed his high school in 1995 and went to Islamabad, Pakistan for his higher education, and currently is in his final year of BS (computer Science).
Omar Mansoor is cofounder and deputy chairman of Afghan Computer Science Association (ACSA), he works for ACSA believing that computing and IT are essential means for development and supporting people in his country to have access to information and knowledge. He is international relations manager of Afghan Media- International and member of YES - Afghanistan country network.
His main interests are learning different languages, cultures, history, sociology, psychology, traveling, digital opportunities, media, reading books. He loves horse back riding and playing chess.
Friends have a vital importance in his life, when he is with the ones he likes then worries about nothing.
