 About Me |
Hi I am a liberian.I am an IT professional ,a social worker and an environmental evaluator.I work with ACPI (african child peace initaitive)a local youth oriented NGO that is involved with peace building
computer literacy training for youth,HIV/AIDS and RH awareness, GBVand SEA awareness, MDG awareness ,environmental education,etc .I work mainly with war affected rural youths and their cares in other to improve their livelihood.
I believe sustainable devlopment will go a long way in alleviating poverty my country. Presently I am involved in a project with TIG called CLCWA-Liberia. We have developed a Telecenter for young people and intend to join TIGed so that students from the Eighth grade a SIMM community school can communicate with their peers. Also we have estabalished Peacebuilding Clubs in six schools in Montserrado County. Presently we are running series of peace building workshops and a peace & Health programs in three communities (Caldwell, Diggsville and New Georgia)during which we have discussions on HIV/AIDS, RH, GBV, SEA,the environment, and many other challenges facing youths.
Finally we can all make a difference only if we try.
