It is not easy for girls in today’s media dominated world to develop a healthy sense of self-worth, self-respect, and purpose as they prepare for their futures. My passion and experiences as a young woman have motivated me to prepare young girls (12-25) who have self-image and self-esteem issues for life’s challenges. The young woman of today will become loving mothers and future leaders of this country. If they do not know their worth they will never reach their full potential, I believe that girls need to be encouraged and given guidance, I have embarked on a mission to provide these girls with the necessary skills to enable them to become self-reliant and assertive so that they are able to accomplish their goals and live up to their full potential which in turn will allow them to empower others. My role in the project as an ambassador has enabled me to lead by example and inspire leadership through my action and results as I strive to fulfill my commitments and conduct myself in a way that is true to my identity.
