 About Me |
I am a 29-year old PhD-student in the Dutch knowledge center on Applications of Integrated Driver Assistance (AIDA) in the Netherlands. Besides my interest in ICT and psychology, I love to learn about the world surrounding me and doing my best to make it a better place. I'm a former active member of the Dutch United Nations Student Association, a group of people that want to "expand" their world by learning about different cultures and international relations. I was the initiator and chairperson of a training- and information day for young people that want to contribute to the world by doing their piece in development aid and international cooperation. This project has sinec been organised yearly by DUNSA-Groningen in cooperation with Move Your World (see http://www.moveyourworld.nl).
I am passionate about teaching and about making people enthousiastic about the world and their role in it! That is why I will be lookin for a place where I can combine my passion for teaching and interacting with other young people with my interests in ICT and development aid......... after I finish my PhD, obviously. One more year to go!!!
Futher interests: dancing (salsa!), my friends, movies, going out and learning a lot every day :-).
