Green Vision is a non for profit development organisation promoting intercultural understanding and sustainable living between persons/groups with varied identities and backgrounds as essential steps in pursuit of social cohesion, sustainable development and international solidarity. Despite of difference in race, religion, sex, national origin, age and disability to sexual orientation and gender identity, Green Vision endorses the UNESCO concept that ‘cultural diversity is as necessary for humankind as biodiversity is for nature’. Green Vision is aware that the preservation and promotion of cultural diversity is the key to sustainable human development. In this sense, our activities empower young people with the skills, knowledge, resources and opportunities they need to foster global citizenship and build bridges across cultures amongst their peers by • Enhancing global awareness through intercultural interaction; • Creating learning venues for intercultural knowledge and experience sharing; • Promoting intercultural skills exchange and • Fostering open-minded attitudes in each individual The world, once segmented and divided, has transformed into a unified and inter-connected village. With issues like global climate change looming in our collective awareness, there is no doubt that the behaviors, actions, and choices made in one part of the world have immediate consequences for the entire global system.
