My name is Suraiya Tabassum. I have done doctorate from Jawaharlal Nehru University in women's stuides. I am the founder member and executive director of New Ray-A Human Rights Organisation. For the past seven years I am working in the development sector and has closely observed how the human rights are being violated in our country.
I can speak English, Hindi as well as Urdu languages.
For the past 4 years New Ray is primarily working in the education sector and thus involved in educating the less privilieged children. It is spreding its horizons in the area of human rights protection not only in India but also in the global world. As the name of the organisation indicates that it is a new and fresh ray hoping to see a better world free from exploitation and hardships.
