I'm Canadian, as we so proudly proclaimed during the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Currently, I live in Uruguay and the bulk of my activism is informally through my work with students, planting seeds of 'change is possible', 'don't fall into cynicism or apathy', 'do your part', 'mother nature is angry.' I am English teacher at an IB school here, encouraging a sense of internationalism.
