 About Me |
Hi! I am Navneet, Co-founder & General Secretary of an Indian youth-led, non-profit organization 'United Mass Movements for Eco-friendly & Equitable Development (UMMEED)'.
I have special interest in creating action-oriented awareness about the issues related to the fair, equitable and environmentally-sustainable development of the world for creating a better, greener, safer and more prosperous future for all.
I like to build the capacities of Children & Youth over the aforesaid socio-environmental issues for it is their future which is going to face the good or bad consequences of what we do today and also of what we don't do.
In academics, I have done my Masters in Sustainable Development with Climate Change as specialization. I was awarded the Brightest Young Climate Leaders (BYCL) Fellowship for the year 2010 by Hindustan Times, British Council & Arctic Holdings in a jointly organized Summit at New Delhi.
