Educator in Newark, NJ. Certified in early childhood. Major in Social Science and Psychology. AYCNP is a not-for-profit NJ corp. It focuses on positive non-pharmaceutical solutions in mental health.
We hope it is a balancing influence on the overuse of psychiatric medications in mental health and gives consumers, parents, educators and professionals resources and accurate, balanced information on mental health.
It also highlights the media's role in mental and behavioral health, and contrastingly, the positive role of "Green Therapy," art therapy, and other self help and professioal therapies, in good mental health.
It provides information on what can be done for children and youth.
