 About Me |
My passion for travel and discovering other cultures as well as my background in public relations has inspired me to work towards being a Communications for Social Change Agent. I will soon be launching my own business - offering workshops, facilitation and one-on-one consultations to develop marketing, media and public relations strategies and tools with entrepreneurs, community groups and not for profit organizations who want to help shape a more just, sustainable and healthy world.
My main interests are projects that focus on community development, public education, environmental advocacy, sustainable tourism, cultural exchange and green business practices.
I believe that change comes from understanding others and that travel and cultural exchange are beneficial to young and old alike – it is by understanding others that we can create after all a better world. I have always been active in various social justice and environmental groups in whatever community I, at a time or another, chose to call home.
