Naomi is the former advocacy liaison for Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA). She previously worked as a program assistant on youth advocacy and maternal health for Family Care International (FCI). She also worked for Human Rights Watch - HIV/AIDS Division on advocacy, capacity building initiative and communications outreach. Also she has worked in direct service as a HIV treatment adherence program coordinator at Brooklyn AIDS Task Force, facilitating outreach and treatment interventions with marginalized communities living with HIV and AIDS in New York. She has worked and lived in Chile, Ecuador and conducted her master’s thesis research on HIV and reproductive health and rights in Kampala, Uganda. She has a Master's degree in International Development. She will begin studying for a degree in public health at Columbia University in the fall of 2008.
