 About Me |
I am born and brought up in western state of Gujarat, India. My educational path show a diverse range, I did my undergraduate in English and then my Master in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai India. I worked as a social science consultant and development media advisor with national and International Organizations like OxFam, Give Foundation, IIM-A, Mudra Institute of Communications and Saath in India and eventually co-founded Heal India Foundation on the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in my state. I got the the prestigious Chevening Scholarhsip to pursue higher studies in Law in Development from the University of Warwick. My area of research is on Women and Aisa , Human Rights and Media for development. Activist by nature and choice I represent Indian women in midst of modernity and traditional values. Areas of expertise are Social work and legal theories, Development Research and Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Enterpreneurship and program Evaluations of developmental projects.
