Dear Friends,
I have seven years of professional experience in Library and Information Science. I started my career with INFLIBENT, Ahmedabd, as a Library Trainee in 1999. Currently working as Librarian (Senior Executive L1), for one of the largest Telecom service provider in India. In this position I am responsible for over all actives of Library and Information Service and Management of Mumbai branch.
Prior to this, I was Librarian for Training Ship Chankya: Collage of Nautical Science, Navi Mumbai, managed and maintained by the Govt. of India. In this position I was heading the Library and Information Service division and also associated with Computer Training programmes. Also served in YUVA: Information Resource Center and IGIDR, Mumbai.
My Academic background: MLISc (Master of Library & Information Science) from Karnatak University, Dharwad.
Published & presented various technical papers in the field of Library & Information, Knowledge Management at national conferences.
Life member of library associations like IASLIC, ILA and BOSLA.
My area of interests: Library Administration, Library Automation and Networking, Digital Library, Multimedia, Database Management, Marketing of Library and Information Services, Information Management, Abstracting, Indexing, Documentation Services and Knowledge management.
