3.3.1 Consultancy works carried out:
• Lead Consultant, Dug Management and Planning in Ethiopia. A nationwide survey on the supply and utilization of drugs. A project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Policy and Human Resource Development (PHRD). (July 1997-Jan. 1998)
• Lead Consultant, Drug Management and Utilization in Oromia Region. A project funded by UNDP and implemented by Oromia Economic Study Project Office (OESPO). (January - April 1999).
• Lead Consultant, Socio-economic and Biological Survey on Medicinal Plants in and around the Bale Mountains National Park. A project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Institute of Biodiversity Conservation and Research (IBCR) (July-December 2000).
• Lead Consultant, Medicinal Plants in Selected areas in North Gondar, South Wollo and the Bale Mountains National Park area. A project funded by the World Bank and implemented by the (IBCR). (July - November 2001)
• Senior Consultant, National Baseline Survey on the Supply and Utilization of drugs in Ethiopia. A study jointly sponsored by USAID and the Ministry of Health (Ethiopia). (2002)
• Consultant, Demand for chemicals and laboratory equipment supplied by Aldrich and Sigma Companies in Ethiopia. The survey was sponsored by Afro-German Chemicals, PLC. (December 1999-January 2000).
o Consultant, Mid-term evaluation of a project on Street Children and Water Development project in Gozamin Woreda, East Gojjam. A project sponsored by CRDA and implemented by Ethiopian Aid.
o Consultant, Baseline survey on KAP on the Convention of the Rights of the Child (CRC) for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA) in Assosa and Gambella Regional States (August/September 2003).
3.3.2 HIV/AIDS Related Activities
a) Translated the following Training Manuals from English into Amharic for the National Committee on Traditional Practices of Ethiopia.
Training Manuals for the Campaign Against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Abduction, and HIV/AIDS in SNNPRG, addressed separately to:
i) Health workers ii) Women
iii) Youths iv) Community leaders.

b) Developed project proposals for the support of the following NGOs:
• Onesimos Nesib Foundation and
• Tsedale Daba Organization for Orphan Support
