About Me

I am an advocate for youth empowerment, civic engagement, education, and the environment. I believe that the collective "we" has the power to move mountains and create the change the world has been waiting for. My on-campus involvement with organizations such as student government and Student Foundation grew into community leadership where I served as a part-time AmeriCorps member mentoring in local schools. I founded Greeks Going Green, an environmental initiative for more than 3,000 fraternity and sorority members on my campus. I've led a variety of workshops on environmental activism and served on student panels for the same topic. Recently, I interned at the United Nations Foundation planning the inaugural Youth Leadership Summit on climate change, and am completing my term as a youth network representative for the UN Environment Programme's Kick the Carbon Habit Campaign. I also recently coordinated sponsorship for the national IMPACT Conference on Service, Advocacy, and Social Action. I'm currently interning with the World Mind Network, and am leading a two-week technology infusion research project at a school in Guatemala City. Simply looking for other like-minded young people and organizations to take our collective power to the next level.
