Confident, intelligent, outspoken and critical about issues that I believe in. Im athletic in build, dark and and of average height. I like challenges, I hate failures but I make do with mistakes, they help me realise how far forward I have moved! I am one of those who always strive to be tops in whatever I do, the reason why I hate criminals or criminalty. For if I become one, I am sure I will be good at it, which would be terrible!!
I have a Masters degree in Biochemistry and currently reading for my PhD in Aquatic animals Nutrition in Malaysia. My area of research is Nutritional Biochemistry (with specific interest in Aquatic animals). I am also computer/internet litterate and belong to so many proffesional organizations(local and internaional), including The Endocrine Society, International AIDS society, Students' World Assembly etc..
I am motivated to make a difference in the way people live, think and do their things in Nigeria by the immense poverty I see around me as occasioned by dirt, hunger, diseases, homelessness, hopelessness and above all, wantom DEATH that are preventable. I would also like to reverse the trend of corruption of our leaders, which has set the pace for our youth also becoming corrupt! I have hope for a great future for the younger generation, only if the behaviours of the present day YOUTHS are re-oriented, re-focused and re-directed to abandon the Inhuman, absurd and if you like, shamefull behaviours of our past leaders.
I am confident that a positive change for NIGERIA and indeed AFRICA in is HIDDEN in the vibrant intellect and energy of the YOUTH of this generation, their foresight, resilience and the fact that the world is a GLOBAL VILLAGE.
I believe that the ENGINE for that change will be powered by IT as provided for by the likes of TAKING IT GLOBAL, the reason why I subscribe wholly to all its actions, vision and mission, thanks for the opportunity!
Iam a productive member of Youth Action Alliance (YAC), a founding member and Executive Secretary of Creative Response of Youth 4 Solutions to HIV/AIDS, Education & Environmental Problems (CRY4SHEEP), a Technical Partner of Women Support Organization (WSO) and also a member of World conference for sustainable development (WCSD). I am currently helping to initiate and Develop Youth Movement for Democracy (YMD) in Nigeria and aspiring to be its African Regional Representative.
I have attended many youth Alliances, workshops and seminars in Nigeria although yet to attend any regionally in Africa or internationally, but I am contented with the little achievements I have so far recorded. I am commited to the full participation and involvement of youth in development, using original creative ideas...whereever, whenever and however posible..So, you can contact me ANYTIME, for full participation in this endeavour.
