Born in Brava, Somalia 1967. Lived in Somalia, Kenya, Yemen and UK. Currently living in UK since 2000.
Studied Politics and International Studies at Middlesex University, London 2004. Obtained my MSc. in Violence, Conflict and Developement from SOAS, University of London, 2006. Worked as journalist since 1985.
Editor in Chief of London based Somali Magazine HIRAAL (2004-2005)
I also work as part time web and graphic designer.
Reently joined Universal TV, the only Somali satellite channel.
Hobbies: Reading, Writing (Scribbling!!), Poems, Computing and Designing.
