 About Me |
Michael Messina is currently serving as the Online Marketing Manager at City Year. He has been at City Year for the past three years, starting as an Admissions Manager for City Year Boston then moving to his most recent role as the Communications Manager for the National Recruitment Department.
Prior to joining City Year, Michael worked for 3 years at MIT as a web designer and communications coordinator. While at MIT, he designed and launched web sites for multiple academic departments and an international research conference.
Michael’s career in service began in the U.S. Air Force where he served as a Personnel Systems Manager for 6 years. He received several awards for his leadership skills including The Air Force Achievement Medal.
Michael Messina received a B.S. in Marketing Communication and Speech from Emerson College, graduating magna cum laude. He is currently in his 2nd year at Tufts University, pursuing a M.A. in Urban & Environmental Policy & Planning.
