MADA MOVEMENT AGAINST DRUG ABUSE OKARA PAKISTAN (Registered) HAS BEEN FIGHTING AGAINST THE SOCIAL EVILS IN PAKISTAN SINCE 1999.ALTHOUGH IT IS A MOVEMENT AGAINST DRUG ADDICTION, POLLUTION, and POVERTY. IT ARRANGES WALKS, SEMINARS, SYMPOSIUMS AND MEDICAL CAMPS TO INVITE THE ATTENTION OF THE GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY TO THE SOCIAL PROBLEMS.PLEASE SUPPORT OUR ACTIVITIES.PLEASE DONATE MADA OKARA PAKISTAN. MOVEMENT AGAINST DRUG ABUSE (AIMS & OBJECTIVE) The most critical/chronic issue, with which the world is confronted, is the curse of narcotics. Unfortunately the situation becomes graver due to involvement of the criminals in drug business. Especially the youth is directly hit by this curse ultimately. The social decline starts because it produces handicapped manpower & thus the positive contribution towards the growth of society is stopped. To coup with this unpleasant situation "MADA” OKARA was established, in Pakistan in June 1999, with adaptation of the following aims and objectives. 1. To mobilized the youth against the drug Abuse, further to aware the public through holding conferences, seminars, symposiums, walks & course meetings. 2. To train the workers to meet the effected persons to convince them to come back to the real world to shoulders their due responsibilities. 3. To establish industrial/mini industrial Looms to protect the living & too boost the economy of the affected families. 4. to established educational institutes where preference in admission will be given to the children of the addicts, poor, needy. 5. To work against pollution & to solve the social problems of the community. 6. Arrange the tournament for the healthy competition of youth. 7. To establish home industrial looms for the welfare of women. The organization has been striving for the materialization of the adopted aims and objectives, since its establishment. It has successfully opened the office in OKARA. Following are our objectives to depart awareness to the people in general and victims of ignorance in particular in various walks of life. i.e. • Health • Environment • Anti-narcotics • Women rights • Social justice • Education • Traffic • Culture etc. We can achieved these objectives through....... • Free distribution of informative literature about general health problems like drug addiction, antismoking, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, common fever, hepatitis infections diseases. • Distribution of literature, pamphlets, stickers, calendars, with messages and slogans against different evils of the society. • Lectures on different topics of public interest. • Walks on internationals days. • Training workshops and seminars • Stamping of postage envelops with slogans against addiction. • Cinema slides with different information and messages. To provide physical help/assistant to the persons at stake like addicts, smokers, neglected youth and depressed persons of the society. We can achieved these objectives through....... • Free medical camps for general diseases • Arrange walks,seminar,conferences. • Sports programs and tournaments. • Musical program. • Environments • Tree plantation twice a year.
