About Me |
My main activity is creating digital humanitarian and development libraries for developing countries. Already more than 200.000 cd-roms have been sent free to developing countries. Each library contains up to 1000 full-text publications.
This humanitarian CD-ROM Project was founded nine years ago to provide massive low-cost access to essential humanitarian and development information to the poorest communities in the world in the same way vaccinations are provided as an essential public health action.
This project, under Human Info NGO www.humaninfo.org and World Information Transfer is a network project involving more than 100 partners worldwide in the South as well as in the North, NGOs as well as governmental and international organizations.
As a Medical Doctor I try to combine professional, medical public health and non-profit management dimensions to reduce costs and to broaden the distribution
potential and international solidarity as much as possible.
I think young persons in the world should be empowered with information to help them achieve positive projects for the local community.
