 About Me |
I'm a 23-yr-old law student in the US, hoping to become a human rights/refugee lawyer. I've always had the belief that, as a citizen of America, we have an ethical responsibility to assist fellow humans who are less fortunate. What else... I tend to obsessively research a topic I find interesting, so hopefully I can be objective when discussing issues. What else, I'm gay and not very religious (secular humanism)... I must admit I have trouble respecting those who make any religious arguments to justify entitlement; that tactic always seems to bring harm and misery to others.
I think of myself as humble (insecure might be the word) and kind, and value that in others.
