The power of one is to believe in yourself.

I have been taught this through my external environment which is surrounded by positive people and experiences. My extensive volunteer experiences have enabled me to help others realize their true potential too. I spearheaded and organized the inaugural Youth Employment Summit in Victoria BC, so youth could tell government and employers their needs for sustainable employment. An inspiration that arose from attending the Vancouver YES is 2004.

Former member of REALM magazines on-line reverb team for 3 years, and an active member of the Greater Victoria United Way's youth council, until I had to retire (no longer a "youth"). I also coordinated a regional program, Youth Options-Youth Community Action, a provincial program that placed youth in volunteer positions to explore career options. I have been in youth employment counselling for 8 years and love to motivate youth to apply for jobs they didn't think they had the skills for.

At the YWCA in Vancouver, I developed a mentorship programme to support women launch their professional careers.

Currently, I live in London, working in HR to develop staff and motivate others to give of their best.

My passion is LIFE...the more challenges I face, the more resilient I become, and in this world change is happening faster than ever. I was born on March 4th and I encourage others to also 'march forth' towards their goals and dreams.
