About me
I am an IYP Delegate from Bangladesh, currently doing my Bachelors in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Technology Studies in Lafayette College, PA, USA. I am in the Health action group for the International Youth Parliament IYP '04 with an action plan for development of clean water systems in Bangladesh. In the past, I have done research with United Students Against Sweatshops (USAS) in collaboration with American Centre for International Labour Solidarity and Bangladesh Garments Union Federation on worker rights and working conditions of college apparel producing factories in Bangladesh and the effects of the MFA Phase out in Bangladesh. I am the ex-Women Genderqueer caucus representative to the coordinating committee of USAS. In the past, I have volunteered with the student chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Lafayette, USA designing this clean water system for communities in Yoro, Honduras as our college Engineering project.
