 About Me |
I have many interests right now, and some are that I like to play piano, take karate lessons, draw/paint, read, write, and much more.
Last year, my class had been learning various things about global issues, and about different ways to learn about them and to start creating awareness and taking global action for things that we believe in and things that we want changed in this world. Learning about TakingITGlobal has really opened up my mind towards learning about how many things in this world really could be changed for the better. I sort of have learned how to see this world with different eyes, and now I see that even I can make some differences in this world. Learning and involving myself in TakingITGlobal has been a great oppurtunity and I've learned and acquired so much more knowledge about the world around me. Taking part in TakingITGlobal has really been a blast because I've learned so much and have become involved with the site and even learned about the other users on here.
TIG sort of inspired me to create a very small freewebs site that I made last year, and it only has some info about one topic that I think should be addressed, which is suicide. Suicide is one of the many, many issues that our world faces, and this topic was one that I researched last year for a project that we had in class. I learned so much through that and through this site, so I am truely grateful to have been given a chance to find out about TIG.
