 About Me |
It's really not about me..... my fears, insecurities,nerves, anxiety. It's about affecting others....teaching and allowing God to get His message out, without me hindering God by being....worried, self conscious, embarrased and wondering what other people think. Its about...... Letting my voice be heard and not denying others what I know can help. I am want to encourage others and inspire. I am a good listener and I am interested in hearing about the many issues and challanges that many are facing today. With so much pain in the world I would like to be a person who trully cares about others no matter where they are or how far away. We all have problems on this earth and life is not always fair but we need to seek out the blessings that are around us even though we may feel as if we are in a storm of darkness at times, with patience and perserverance the sun will appear even though the rain may still be falling a rainbow of hope appears. Don't ever give up to soon and miss the beautiful rainbow of hope. My passion is to encourage and give hope to others that are having a hard time seeing through the pouring rain and heavy fog of life. It is hard to understand suffering and why some suffer more than others. But sometimes it teaches us that we cannot always rely on our own strength we need help from Almighty God. We all need to know that someone cares and it may be somebody that we didn't even know cared. I am a Christ follower and live to serve Jesus who I owe my life to. My own personal story of being in the darkness in the terrible storm of life left me feeling,depressed, empty and angry. It wasn't until I realized that i could not help myself that I realized that I was weak and powerless and that I needed God's grace and mercy to save me from my sense that I thought I was a good enough person. What I didn't realize was that I was still stained by sin. God is Holy and perfect something I could never achieve on my own ever and He is just and fair. We have all sinned and we have a choice to pay for our sins ourselves and be punished or accept what Jesus did for us. Heaven is a Holy place and God will not settle for any imperfections so the good news is that we have a Savior Christ Jesus that died in our place and took all the punishment for us so we could stand before God cleansed by the blood of Jesus and not be condemned. Jesus is the hope for all that are suffering, sick, poor or abused, addicted, betrayed, angry, resentful or addicted and more....there is eternal hope, don't ever be angry that God allows suffering or doesn't take it away but be glad He gives you His strength through it. Our world is fallen and so are we. I turned from my past and chose to surrender and submit to Jesus and live for Him. I don't have an easy life but I have peace and assurance that I am part of the family of God and anyone can be a brother or sister and a child of God by just simply asking like I did for Jesus to come into their heart and be the boss of their life. He has freed me from the chains that kept me locked in fear. I am very concerned about the disease of AIDs taking so many lives and leaving so many children without a parent or both. Something needs to be done to care for the sick and suffering and the orphans left to live without parents. AIDs may take the physical body but it will never kill the Spirit of God that lives in every believer. My heart is that the abuse and neglect of children would stop and a child could feel the love of others willing to help. Even though we will have pain and suffering in this world we can have hope that we have an eternal life free from tears and pain with our Lord. God will not force Himself into your life and I would never force anyone either. But my heart is heavy thinking of all who reject Him or wait until they feel they are ready to accept Him because it may be to late. Don't wait! be assured that you and others accept the gift of eternal life and the Holy Spirit that comes to all God's children to guide in truth and love and the ability to endure trials, tribulations and persecution. God will give us the courage and ability to go and help others in dangerous places and situations if we go in the authority of Jesus Christ.
