''Olumayowa Okediran, a youth with a strong tenacity for a positive shift from the current paradigm, is the facilitator and Pioneer Executive-President of the All-Nigeria United Nations Students’ and Youth Association, University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and a member of the National Executive Council of the All-Nigeria United Nations Students’ and Youth Association (ANUNSA) by virtue of his office. Olumayowa who believes in personal development of the youth, takes time to attend seminars, symposiums, workshops and public lectures relating to the youth and National development. He is the Initiator of the Distinct Instincts Project Nigeria (DIP Nigeria). A youth organisation with a vision to raise a generation of young men and women, who can think analytically and make informed decisions on issues that relate to their personal development. He served as a volunteer worker at the Educare Trust Ibadan. A Non-Governmental, Non-Partisan Organization, with the objectives of bridging the gap between theory and practice in the Nigerian education system. In the year 2006, he underwent training, as a counsellor for people living with HIV/AIDS. The programme was organized by the Family Counselling Centre in partnership with the Network on Ethics/Human Rights, Law, HIV/AIDS-Prevention, Support & Care (NELA) Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Between 26th November and 2nd December 2007, Olumayowa attended the Ford Foundation sponsored Life Vanguards 10th Annual residential Youth Leadership Programme. He was one of 30 youth delegates selected from across the country. He has at several times been a member of youth committees and participates in programmes organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). In 2007, he had a stint with African Children Voices, the organization behind the soap-Children’s Court. ACV is a child rights advocacy, NGO based in Abeokuta Ogun State. He is the Project Director, The Expert Mentoring Partnership and Linkages (TEMPL) – A project with a vision to link interested young Nigerians with mentors, who have achieved a certain degree of success in their fields of specialization for positive transfer of knowledge. He is currently the Project Director, Graduate Workforce Development Programme (GWDP), a programme in partnership with ef-Oneweb Ltd (ef-onewebng.com). The programme seeks to tutor students in their final and semi-final year on Oracle 11g SQL Expert, IT Business Fundamentals etc. Olumayowa is also an Associate member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and is currently studying for a degree in Animal Physiology at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.''
