About Me

Im musah, a youth HIV/aids activist working with FOC-REV ministries Uganda as the in charge of foc-rev health centre.

It offers reproductive health and HIV/Aids services to the youth in the rural areas of Busia and along lake shores of lake victoria, he also a prject officer implementing HIV/AIDS activites with funding from USAID through STAR-E,also implementing promotion of long term methods fo family planning with funding from PACE(Proggramme for accessible health,communication and education) formerly PSI, all p[rojects being implemented in the rural parts of Busai -Uganda.

It should be noted that community’s population is the nation’s power house hence its health status is very vital for development across all sectors. And as HIV/AIDS reduces one performance scale and family’s productivity in the long run, it leads to over dependence on the government; increasing its expenditure on health, education, looking after widows, orphans and other vulnerable children etc yet on the other hand the tax base is reduced which is a big burden for every nation especially developing ones like Uganda.

This calls for every one’s involvement in mass mobilization, health education and promotion of a behavior conducive to health amongst our selves and not forgetting to improve on the quality of life of those already infected/affected HIV/AIDS.
