Hi dear viewer and hopefully reader
My name is Mariel and I live in a beautiful country; Switzerland. You may know its cheese, chocolate, mountains or watches. Or maybe the from the Swiss bank?
I was born here 16 years ago.
I grew up with a lot of green and trees and for real, recycling.
I would like to keep this way of living since we practice this a lot here and many people actually do it.
I love mother nature and all the things she's been giving to us and we need to give it back.
That's why my main goals concerning global changes is it, to make people reconsider the valuable environment they live in.
I am originally from the Philippines. Sadly, I have been in a quick, tiny cultural shock when I returned to the islands last April (2010) after approx 5 years. As a teenager someone sees its surroundings from a different point of view.
At the age of 9 I already got it the concept of a third world country. And I knew that I wanted to change something, even though it is possible that it might be just so small.
Now I'm back in Switzerland and I know that poverty exists. I want to change that, because people can change it on their own.
We need to help them.
