After finishing a BA Honours in Sociology at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, I am now pursuing work in the field of youth-led development with a small NGO in the United Kingdom called Peace Child International. The experience of working for an international NGO to enpower young people is a tremendously enriching experience that has brodened my view of development and the challenges associated with it. After having worked on the field in Benin and Morocco, and having experienced two very different but extremely educational experiences, my passion for workig with children and young people in cross-cultural contexts has grown. I am a firm beleiver that inspiration, creativity and motivation can be developed in the youth of the world so that they may become active citizens who will contribute solutions to the world's problems.
