 About Me |
My name is Martha Cecilia Díaz Mondragón, I am 18 years old and I live in Mexico. I love reading and dancing, hanging out with my friends and traveling.
I’m involved in Models of the United Nations. In April 2004, I participated as a delegate of Russian Federation in the Security Council; In September 2004, I participated as France in the Security Council; In October 2004, I was part of the Secretariat that organized the model in my school; I was the President of the Security Council which was an English committee. I was the Secretary General of the TOLMUN on October 2005, which is the Model of the United Nation in Toluca. This is one of the most important projects nowadays, I’ve been working in it for a long time and I’m committed to it since the beginning since this model gives you the opportunity to analyze the conflicts for real and come up with solutions which results are possible.
I’m taking French classes as well as a curse of Literature. I took Hawaiian, jazz and Arabic dance classes.
All that I have done has given me the opportunity to grow personally in many ways; it has given me friends all around the world and the possibility to know their cultures and their way of thinking. I have learned about tolerance and respect, which is an essential thing in every aspect of daily life such as work, school, religion, culture, ideologies and an essential thing among countries.
