I'm a High School student who is trying to start my own environmental/political activist group. Our school is seriously lacking when it comes to clubs etc. and I know a lot of people who are interested in trying to make a difference, so I think it'a great idea. I really just want to help the state of the world we live in and fight for my beliefs. I don't think I could feel satisfied or content if I didn't. On a more personal note, I'm very interested in art, music and literature. I love painting and creating jewelry, clothes etc. in my spare time. I also read a lot of books and currently I've been reading a lot of Anne Rice vampire books. When it comes to music I like a wide variety of things...right now I've mostly been listening to radiohead, guster, dead kennedys,the moldy peaches and the velvet underground...I couldn't list all of the music groups I like. I'm also interested in joining the peace corps or similar organizations when I'm older and as far as my desired profession....I have a lot of ideas...history professor...artist...Paleoanthropologist[currently my favorite idea]...psychologist....so who really knows what I'll end up settling on...please contact me if you think you could help me with my group or if you just want to discuss similar interests etc. ....and also let me know if my group could help you, thanks [my myspace page is www.myspace.com/lunaanimus]
