About Me

I'm a bit of an idealist. I have lots of dreams - though few are fully defined. When I'm not reading, practicing yoga, or surfing the net you'll find me listening to old tunes, enjoying the company of quality friends or trying to get my mind off of chocolate.

I loved my undergraduate program in Health Studies, but since graduating have discovered a new passion in international health and sustainable development. I've worked with many different NGOs in Canada and in Kenya, and I'm most interested in alleviating the impacts of HIV/AIDS, gender inequality, and on the broader level: improving public health through community-centered/empowering approaches in general.
